Alphion is a Worldwide leader and Pioneer of Telecom Product Development Company in PON FTTx. Alphion has been recognized for the pioneering and industry leading FTTH solutions . We design, develop, manufacture and market communication systems, enabling Triple Play Services. Headquartered in Mumbai, Alphion India Pvt Ltd develops, manufactures, and markets communication systems and photonic components. With R&D in Chennai, support in Bangalore, and manufacturing in Chennai, the company strategically serves the growing FTTx demands of service providers and OEMs across Asia in markets like communications, CATV, and defense.
Innovation
Alphion India is addressing the ever-increasing demand for access bandwidth by providing complete end-to-end ITU-T G.984 and G.9807 (FSAN) compliant GPON solutions, including Optical Line Terminals (OLTs), Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), passive optical splitters as well as element management software. As a member of the ITU FSAN group, Alphion is actively involved in setting the standards for the next generation of PON based access products. The AMUX-71xx and AMUX-72xx families family supports a full range of FTTP services and the company offers a full line up of ONTs for use in single family units, apartments, small businesses, multi-dwelling units and mobile tower sites. The demand for triple play services (voice, video and data) will drive the development of GPON based products over the next decade and the company sees this area as the highest growth segment in the telecommunications field.

Executive Leadership
Dr. Dave is a recognized expert in optical network systems development. Prior to founding Alphion, Bharat spent 15 years with Bell Labs where he led the design and development of multiple SONET, ATM and optical networking products, where he served as Chief Architect of Lucent's WaveStar™ LambdaRouter optical cross-connect system. Over the past 25 years, he has grown Alphion to be a multi-national company and leader in Fiber-To-The-Premises Industry. He has received numerous awards and patents for his accomplishments in optical networking and fault tolerant computing. He holds a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Madras; M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, USA.

Murali Sampath has over 35 years of experience in software development. Associated with Alphion for the last Twenty years in charge of R&D, Manufacturing and Customer Support. Prior to joining Alphion, Murali worked for AudioCodes as a software lead and at Tellium as a principal software engineer working on their optical cross connects and DWDM equipment. He holds a M.S in Electronics Engineering from Monmouth University. USA.

Ms. Neha Parab an accomplished HR and Operations professional with over 20 years of extensive experience in the IT and Telecom industry. She has successfully led key functions across HR, Administration, Recruitment, Training, Employee Relations, and Finance, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence. With a strong academic foundation in Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Law, and a PGDBM in HR, she brings a balanced blend of, human resource and financial expertise to support organizational growth and success

M. Srinivasan has over 32 years of Experience in Electronics and Telecommunication Manufacturing. Associated with Alphion since November 2007 and responsible for SCM, Manufacturing, Logistics and Operations. Prior to joining Alphion, Srinivasan worked for:
- Midas Communications, Chennai (2000-2007) as Engineer - Installation and System Validation.
- Tata Telecom, Tata Fone Division, Chennai (1994-2000) as Senior Technical Executive - R&D and Customer Support.
- Indchem Electronics, Chennai (1991-1992) as Production Executive (C-DoT RAX, MAX and MAX-L).
- Coramadel Electronics, Chennai (1990-1991) as Quality Control (Final QC) Executive.
