Description

The Alphion power saving AONT-UPS protects the Alphion GPON ONTs from bad power as a result of surges and power outs. The AONT-UPS is a compact backup power solution companion to the AONT-1000 and AONT-2000 family of SFU ONTs. The unit can be either wall mounted or placed on the floor near the ONT.

Applications

The AONT-UPS is meant to provide uninterrupted service from the AONT-1000 and AONT-2000 family of SFU ONTs. This ensures that voice, data, and internet are fully functional, even during a power outage or power surge, for up to 5 hours. When the power supply is restored, the back-up battery charges up in 18 hours or less depending on the battery discharge during the power out.
